On March 4, 2026 we celebrated World IBCLC Appreciation Day. In honor of IBCLC Day, the District of Columbia Breastfeeding Coalition (DCBFC) invites you to join us in our "Thank an IBCLC" Campaign.

- Did you take part in one of our Lactation Certification Preparation Courses?
- Did you participate in any of our National Breastfeeding Month events?
- Did you join us for any of our clinical skills labs?
- Have you or your employer received a breastfeeding-friendly award from the DCBFC?
- Are you passionate about reducing disparities in breastfeeding?

The grant funding that has supported all of this work since 2010 lapsed in September 2025, and we are now doing everything we can to try to secure sustainable funding for our work.
